At Platform Hair Co., we don’t rush production or cut corners. Our Premium Pro line is a direct result of stylist feedback, rigorous testing, and our obsessive commitment to quality.
1. Ethical Sourcing Verification
Every bundle begins with a strict sourcing protocol to ensure it’s collected ethically, with cuticles aligned and intact for long-lasting performance.
2. Strand-by-Strand Inspection
Before processing, each batch is hand-selected and visually inspected to ensure consistency in strand length, thickness, and texture.
3. Controlled Color Processing
We use a gentle, multi-step lightening system to lift without damaging the hair shaft — avoiding acid baths or silicone masking. Each shade is developed slowly to maintain integrity and softness.
4. Fade-Resistance Treatment
Colors are pre-toned during processing using proprietary formulas designed to resist brassiness and hold true through washes and heat styling — minimizing the need for additional toning post-install.
5. Cuticle Alignment & Smoothing
Hair is aligned root to tip and smoothed without cuticle-stripping agents. This ensures natural movement, shine, and resistance to matting or frizz.
6. Bond Strength Testing
Each bond is tested for heat tolerance, breakage resistance, and shedding under salon-like conditions. We monitor for keratin durability during installs, removals, and reapplications
7. Wash + Wear Simulation
Random samples from every batch are washed, brushed, toned, and styled to mimic real salon use. If it doesn’t hold up after multiple test cycles, it doesn’t ship.
8. Color Ring Cross-Matching
We match every bundle against our master color ring to verify tonal accuracy, dimension, and blend consistency — across all shades and roots.
9. Final Hand Inspection & Packaging Review
Before any hair leaves our facility, it is given a final hands-on review by our in-house team to ensure bond quality, softness, scent, and presentation all meet our gold-standard checklist.
